Ramanichandran is the author of the 25 chapters Chandini novel. The novel belongs to a romance genre. Novelist Ramani was born in 1938 in Thiruchendur. Educated up to P.U.C., she wrote her first novel at the age of 32. She has been writing Tamil Novels for the last 50 years.

The heroine of the story ‘Chandini‘ is the daughter of Somanathan. One day Somanathan’s boss ‘Shankar’ comes to his house and falls in love with her at first sight when she gave coffee to him. He then told Somanathan that he wanted to marry his daughter and do not need any dowry for that.

Ramanichandran writes that the heroine of this story belongs to a poor family and the man comes from a well-to-do family. Since Shankar and Somanathan work in the same office, he knows about Shankar’s character.
