The novel ‘Aasai Aasai Aasai’ is a work by Ramanichandran. ‘Mathivathani’ is the heroine of this novel. The novel begins with the marriage of ‘Mohana’, the daughter of her aunt ‘Sundari’. RC wrote the novel as if the majestic Nataswara music was playing in the wedding hall.

‘Mathivathani’ knows that Aunty Sundari has given more gold and silver as dowry to her daughter who is looking for a rich groom to marry. Both Madhathani’s father ‘Sudarsanam’ and Madivadani were looking at busy wedding works.

She was born in 1938 in Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi district in pre-independence India. Ramanichandran made his literary debut in 1970 with the short novel Jodi Pura. She combined her husband’s name ‘Balachandran’ with her name ‘Ramani’ and kept the pen name as ‘Ramanichandran’.

She was born the daughter of Ganesan and Kamala Sundara Devi. His father Ganesan was a B.A. graduate at the time. Ganesan always wore a white and white and he was proficient in English. Ramanichandran currently lives in an apartment in Mylapore, Chennai. You can always find a smile on her face.
